“It wasn’t until I sat in on a Savvy Board meeting that I truly understood the complex workings of this amazing organization and the scope of their efforts. I was immediately proud to be part of something so much larger than myself…..that I believed would truly change the world.”
– Julia Condon, Founding Savvy Writer.
Spring is finally here and the Savvy Women's Alliance is looking forward to warmer weather and longer days! Here’s what we’re talking about this month:
- April Theme: Plastics
- Invite to Exclusive Member Event at the Silent Spring Institute May 11th
- New! View Chapter Locations On A Map View
- How can I be more involved with the Savvy Women’s Alliance?
Monthly Topic: Plastic & Packaging
Plastic is everywhere – in more places than you might think. And it’s not good for our environment or our bodies. This month we’re going to talk about the not so obvious places plastic is hiding and how to reduce the amount of it, and thus the amount of a few specific harmful chemicals, in our lives. We will explore this topic within:
- Our Savvy Path Blog – choose your own challenges as we start to explore a range of topics from microbeads to lunchboxes
- Plastics and Packaging Challenge - a new discussion thread just started in our member's online discussion forum, the Savvy Café
- On Our Facebook Page – we’ll post tips and videos throughout the month

How can I be more involved with the Savvy Women’s Alliance?
Do you have a little voice inside asking “How can I make a difference?” The bad news is that little voice will never go away. You can try and suppress it, but it will always be there. The good news is that we are holding our hand out to help you find your place. We believe you have insight and brilliance that will help the next woman.
